ChessXpedition - ScotlandWhile our explorers are still waiting for interested parties to sponsor them, they have kicked off the Chess Xpedition on their own. In June 2005 they went to the Isle of Lewis and Harris (where the famous Chess pieces were found). They did not discover any new finds and settled for playing at the sacred site known as the Callanish Stones. This was their first country and represents Scotland. |
